With a world-wide membership now over 50,000 members in over 100 countries, BCS is the qualifying body for Chartered IT Professionals (CITP).

BCS was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1984. Its objects are to promote the study and practice of computing and to advance knowledge of and education in IT for the benefit of the public. BCS is also a registered charity.

BCS is licensed by the Engineering Council to award Chartered Engineer status (CEng) and Incorporated Engineer status (IEng); and more recently by the Science Council to award Chartered Scientist status (CSci).

ECUK's mission is to set and maintain realistic and internationally recognised standards of professional competence and ethics for engineers, technologists and technicians, and to license competent institutions to promote and uphold the standards.

Under its Royal Charter, ECUK regulates the engineering profession in the UK and formally represents the interests of UK engineers abroad. It is a Designated Authority under the current General Systems Directives.

The Association of Computing Machinery

ACM is an educational and scientific society uniting the world's computing educators, researchers and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources and address the field's challenges. ACM strengthens the profession's collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and recognition of technical excellence. ACM supports the professional growth of its members by providing opportunities for life-long learning, career development, and professional networking.

Microsoft Registered Partner

Registered Partner: Our exeprtise in Microsoft technology spans several decades, having worked on Windows SDK 2,0 for Reuters and subsequently run workshops first for Microsoft DNA (COM/COM+) and then pioneered several products on the .NET platform.

Work with OffTwo Ltd. looked at how .NET and open source software could sucessfully co-exist in an SOA paradigm. Helping Travelport (who develop the Galilleo reservation system) nail down the architecture for their new product further enhanced our relationship the Microsoft toolset as it was based on .NET 3.5.
