Pantheon Software Management is the wrapper company for my activities. Who am I?At heart, spirit and soul, I am a software developer. I love to discover new technologies and make them work for me, but above all, I love to show people and the companies they work for how to make their lives easier by using the tools I discover. Software Development is difficult. It changes a lot... it morphs. When you think you've got it - poof - the tools change, the landscape changes the platforms change. Developers get very upset about that and it's my job to make those transitions easier - because that's what it's about. Change. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. I live in Brighton, UK, which is full of wonderfully weird and wacky people - just the kind I like. I travel a lot, but in the end, I am always happy to get back to my city by the sea - smelling the salt in the air, feeling the wind blowing off the channel, sitting on the beach watching the millions of fat seagulls.
I Consult...Helping companies with thier software development issues is a fantastic feeling. It keeps me on the sharp end of software development and allows me to interact with everyone in the organisation from the developer to the CEO. I run workshops and seminars for my clients to help them work through speciifc problems whether they be organisational or technical. I Write...I write - though not as much as I would like. I am in the process of writing an e-book to help developers write n-tier and SOA architectured applications in .NET. I Coach...I coach at every level of a company, from developers to CEOs and CTOs. It's what I do best and I really love it. I Speak...Whenever I can :)
Most of all, I love to meet people and find out what they're up to.
