Our specialist investor service helps a potential acquirer assess a potential technology before committing. 

Each consultant is assigned only a small number of Private Equity or Venture Capital clients and works with them throughout the year on various projects as they occur.

Typical questions in software products and IT service companies is:

• Is the technology really something new?
• How does the  proposition compare against the competition?
• Is there any underlying technological risk which may get in the way of commercialisation?
• What still needs to be done before this can become a killer app?

We give our clients the information in non-technical plain English. This is not a subjective opinion but an unbiased assessment so that investment  decisions can be made with all the facts.

Following on from an initial technical assessment, we also offer deep dive due diligence audits prior to completion.

• the organisation and whether it supports the business. Are there efficiencies to be made? 
• the processes and how they are defined and lived . How much effort is required to optimise them? 
• how is the product developed or the service delivered?
• the QA capability
• the delivery capability
• the release history
• whether there are any extra business lines to be explored
